Finished the first episode and so far it's really good. Usually it takes me a few episodes to get into a show.

Yes if you want story you'll have to watch the series. It's an older book so you might be looking at a reprint or something?
The artist has a really unique style. I might post some of his stuff in here.
It's less about what the story is about then it is about, what do you do while watching it
It's kind of an anthology series. Kind of like The Twilight Zone but all of the stories take place in the same town.
The characters are intertwined but each episode, so far, revolves around a different character arc.
