Teddy's part starts around 2:45. The vid is mostly focused on Stephen Smith but you have to hear what Teddy has to say. It's true and a damn shame.

I think he's being overdramatic, I think only 1 card was out of the realm of possibility. Many on press row had it a draw, I could easily see GGG winning 7-5 or a draw, but there's only one person in the world that had it 118-110 for Canelo

edit: made it further in the video & I guess Stephen A & I are simpatico. I'm choosing to believe he's a blind squirrel that found a nut

I don't think it's just boxing,we have seen time and time again some sketchy judging in the UFC. Then these same sketchy judges would continuously pop up and effect the outcome of big fights where big money was on the line in Vegas.

I always thought it was odd that the UFC would bring these same judges overseas with them to judge bouts...when they already knew their history

Kizer back in the day was in bed with Zuffa, they controlled the game that was being played.

Prize fighting has corrupt judges? But who would that benefit from that?
Bookees?
Promotors?
Commissions?
How would they possibly benefit to the point of ensuring a few judges are ringside to score things "a certain way?"

Wanna hear a wild conspiracy theory? Adalaide Byrd actually believed her own scorecard.

It's no longer a conspiracy anymore to assume judges are on the take when we see decisions like this. That's the default assumption.

With Adalaide, you can never tell if it's corruption or blindness. She's been consistently the worst possible judge for decades in multiple sports. Her consistent awfulness either means she's always open to the highest bidder or is just Cecil Peoples' mentor.

The fact she keeps rendering decisions tells me NSAC tolerates either bad judging or corruption. I'm taking the latter. Why would an athletic commission want horrible judges? It depend$.

^^^^^^^
"She scored Varner vs Guillard 30-27 Guillard
She scored it 30-26 for akiyama vs belcher
She scored Garcia vs Phan 29-28 Garcia
She scored Ellenberger vs Rocha 30-27 for Rocha
She scored Guida vs Aurelio @ UFC 74 29-28 Aurelio"

So basically, the more "ethnic" the more she favours that fighter?

UFC has many bought off scorecards IMO

Same exact motive as boxing

Huge money and payouts for vegas

Follow the money...If a bad decision makes the house collect on 95% of bets then it is beyond likely that the dark arts are in play

Many examples of this in MMA history(think Heavily bet fights or giant underdogs with attractive lines)

Both sports are full of corruption.

Teddy Atlas doesn't fuck around. He once put a loaded gun up to Tysons head and said if he ever touched his niece again he'd blow his head off. Then pulled the trigger and fired a round right by iron Mike's head. He's spot on though with the corruption, I can see oscar paying that judge off. He's suspect af.

The fact it was a draw isn't what's bad

The fact a judge gave Canelo TEN ROUNDS is what people are outraged about
