Tell me all of your best camping tips

I'm going to start camping around Florida's coast and Keys. Only been on a few camping trips as a kid, so this will be all new to me. I've got all the basics I think, but I'm sure there will be lessons learned.

I'll be driving my car everywhere, so there won't be any need to pack and hump my gear in and out.

Give me your camping advice...

Try mushrooms while camping. Lay on your back in the open and stare at the night sky. It's beautiful.

No I'm dead serious. It's just not worth it imo if you take less. Unless you just have some laying around. At 3.5 grams you'll start to blow your ego out, have cool visuals, and the night sky will be spectacular
