Louisiana is trying this next. Here's where my state officials stand on modern issues.... they allowed a guy in my city to apply for a license to open a CBD shop. They approved his license and he paid whatever was needed and opened the shop. Within a week, the sheriff's department got a task force together and raided the shop, arresting the owner and holding him on like $300k bail. They released him and dropped the charges, so now the guy has lost everything because he put all he had into opening that shop. Here we are just a few weeks later and the state announces that they will be putting a bill forward allowing the sale of CBD... what in the flying fuck Louisiana?
