Bia is awesome in her own right and has been for years. Dern is definitely a bit overhyped but no shame losing to Bia.

Bia is incredible, I'm not surprised by this outcome. That's the thing about absolute divisions, doesn't usually favor the smaller opponent. If Mackenzie is truly focused on her MMA career, than I see her competitive BJJ career coming to an end (like Jacare, Roger, Kron, and other top fighters who made that transition)

It's called watching her fight beyond watching her tits. She's gorgeous, sure.. but she's no second coming of Ronda. When Ronda was an ammy, you could see she was special and her skillset. Dern? She's looked like shit in her fights, but the huddled virgin mma fans claim she's something amazing. She can work hard and be something great, but as it stands now, she's overhyped and going to fail if she thinks she can get by on what she has currently.

Mackenzie has been a beast in the BJJ scene for years, she's amazing because she was not only winning her weight division, but also winning the absolute divisions against a beast in Gabi Garcia. Her hype came because she's legit as hell on the ground, and if she transferred her BJJ into MMA grappling, she could be the best female grappler in MMA today.

Nobody called her the second coming of anyone, only dipshits who love to troll forums (and publicly use racial slurs in the forum here) claim that anyone is the second coming of anyone else. And it's not huddled virgins, but those of us who train/coach/compete in BJJ who tout her skills.

But you are correct in saying that she does have the possibility of being something special... As I said before, if she really wants to make a serious run in MMA, she probably will have to retire from active IBJJF competition. Right now she's splitting time between MMA training (she's with a solid camp), and gearing up for grappling events, but she needs to focus on one or the other, not both.

Normally I wouldn't reply to assholes who use racial slurs like you did.... But saying that a person is going to be a more popular or successful fighter and calling them the second coming of someone are two different things. She could in fact be more popular (due to how she promotes herself on IG), second coming is a stretch since she's not the same style of fighter as Ronda (she doesn't rush in and overwhelm her opponents like Ronda did).

And Bendo is her teammate, I always take what teammate say with a grain of salt.
