I excited for it. The first one was great and this looks like it has serious potential.
Also as I keep saying, bonus pointsi for Bernthal wearing a Waylon Jennings shirt. lol

Always thought Bernthal was too small for the punisher.I watched the one with Jane in it in Tampa. Liked the view so well I met a girl there and ended up staying with her and getting her to show me around Tampa.That was back when Ybor was still nice.
Going back for the ACDC show in May.
The Thomas Jane movie was what got me into Punisher - loved the movie. I didn't realize until a lot later how much it was based on the "Welcome Back, Frank" book by Garth Ennis...some of the scenes were panels taken directly out of the book.
I get people saying Bernthal was too small, but in reality, he was a perfect size. Spec ops / SEALs / etc are an average size of about 5'8"-5'9" & maybe 165-170lbs, so he was honestly more accurate than we'd think. He was the on-screen portrayal of Punisher in Daredevil S2. The Punisher show was absolute shit, though. The second season was so fucking bad that I didn't even finish it...and I'm a Punisher fanboy.
Though perhaps the *best* overall portrayal of Frank Castle, speaking of Thomas Jane, was the "Punisher Dirty Laundry" short starring Thomas Jane. After playing Castle in the movie, he apparently ended up loving the character so much that he paid to make the short out of his own pocket.
It's FANTASTIC if you haven't seen it.

I loved the 1st one, that scene where the dad bring them to fight bigger boys brought back memories. Ive always had my sons spar against bigger people so by age 14 they were already sparring against 17-18 year olds.
They got their asses handed to them most times but fuck did it make them beasts.
They dont hate me for it so I guess it was alright.
