In street fights anything goes. Im not a shitbag who uses weapons or bites or anything like that but u have to keep it ruthless.

Most fights last less than 2 minutes and u have to do as much damage as possible. 12 to 6 elbows is a favorite of mine when it hits the turf.

Luckily I'm too old to be getting in street fights anymore
I have a scar on my left forearm from where a guy was gnawing on it. That was pretty dirty i thought and i had to be very careful not to let it get infected.

Busta had to defeat the Law twice in one fight. That one rubbed me wrong.

The following is hearsay- I heard linland pulled the same thing on Fulton at some North Dakota rez casino called 4 bears. but pulled out the win after phantom tapping. The guy who told me was in Fultins corner. I never saw the fight.
He also bit someone's ear in wrasslin'

I used to try to give honourable "fair" fights. My brother would mock me and call me a dumbass. I've been sucker punched, tag teamed and hit with crowbars etc enough times to know that a street fight is about survival and I will do ANYTHING to win. You want a fair fight, no problem, speak to a promoter. You attack me in a car park, I will (and have) defend myself by any means necessary.

A lot of people used to say Gilbert Yvel was dirty. At least one ref would agree, but I think he cleaned it up later in his career. Gotta save honest, I never thought of Kongo as a dirty guy. Maybe I was too busy admiring his physique to notice he gave that many knees to the balls.

if i remember correctly, he did. he just did to much to recover his name from. i think he even gave a speech at the end of his last fight.

Decent list but come on, where's Gerard Gordeau? He actually blinded Yuki Nakai with an eye poke and was as dirty as anyone. Actually The Netherlands produced the majority of the dirtiest fighters in the early days.

but it was within the rules of that UFC event, dirty means breaking the rules to me.

His biting Royce Gracie at UFC 1 was definitely against the rules. As for his blinding of Yuki Nakai at Japan Vale Tudo 95 - here's what he had to say:

Also, let's not forget Gary 'Big Daddy' Goodridge's full frontal assaulting of the balls of The Pedro at IVC 1. That one is still hard to watch.

Yvel gets a bad rap for no reason. that ref was a friend and bought off by the other corner. It was a very shady deal Yvel got delt, and I am surprised he handled it that lightly. should he have put hands on the ref? no, but I understand why he did it and I give him a pass.

he is actually a really nice genuine guy. we talk sometimes on facebook so I keep up with whats going on with him. I could probably ask him to come do a Q&A.

Is that frowned on? I don't see anything wrong with an oil change every now and again. It needs to become a common occurrence in WMMA.

Giant slayer!!! Yuki Nakai - 3 fights in 1 night!! (Gets blinded for life) (Vale Tudo Japan)

It's incredible that Yuki didn't even hold the submission and break Gordeau's leg after Gordeau blinded him.

I was sort of the same way when I was a bit younger and drinking and getting into fights all the time. I always had this ideal of how I should act and what would be a "bitch move", blah blah. Basically wanted to apply MMA rules to street fights. I could never really live up to my own ideals though and it always failed in actual practice. When I actually got heated enough to get into it with someone, I would inevitably just spaz and do all kinds of messed up shit that I would called the other guy a pussy for, lol.

Past that shit now, but hopefully I'm past street fighting too.
