I'm from central Illinois originally, and I grew up in a family that was split up over baseball teams :D. I was on the St. Louis side of the Cardinals vs. Cubs rivalry in my family. I haven't followed baseball for years now, but I used to be way into the Cardinals. I had kind of forgot about this story until you posted it here....good stuff!

The OP has been a member here for a while, he’s been in a downward spiral for years. Nice enough guy but he brings nothing to the table and has a lot of personal problems.

The most amazing part about that play is the discipline of Stills in not blocking JC Jackson when Drake cut back in from the sideline.
that would have been a block-in-the-back, right in front of all the officials.
