I love how many punks have misfits patches but the misfits were actually really weird and not really punk lol. Same with Dead Kennedy's everyone had the patch but when most listen they are like wtf this is annoying
Lived a small window into the punk world in the early 90's. A magical place but glad I got out, lol Still listen to tons of punk though, even play drums in a crappy band sometimes trying to play Black Flag/NOFX/Bad Religion tunes etc

Guess I should contribute. Here is a great Irish song about all the warring between Ireland and the British Empire, turned into a punk song by No Use For A Name (RIP Tony Sly)
In fact I think most songs get better as punk songs. The problem however is that the original always gets ruined because it will forever sound just too goddamn slow
