A lot of people had been calling for this kind of promotion, getting older, legendary fighters in the ring again. The IFL gave it a shot and did pretty well except their overhead was sky high and that killed them pretty quick. SO it looks like Bellator is committing (and with great success) to that model. Wonder where this is gonna go? Could be a good way to establish solid ratings, get more money, snatch up better talent and take a much closer 2nd place to the UFC.

We'll see........

If it leads to them getting the talent I'm all for it. I thought they would have signed some bigger names by now, but hopefully they're just getting started.

Meanwhile, the antitrust suit hangs in the balance. Hopefully Zuffa will lose and other orgs like Bellator will benefit.

Whatever the case, I think Coker will always promote alzheimer and freakshow fights. People line up for them, and they probably always will.

Here's to Rockhold-Weidman IV in 2026!

What will really rock is a senior's WMMA fight. Middle aged chicks with hell on their faces fighting like Wendys from Breaking Bad for 2k/2k.

Heaven is not upon us yet, but just you wait, boys.
