That's really weird that a place like thailand needs weed to be sold by dealers. in California I can walk to a dispensary and show some card I bought for 25 bucks from a "doctor" which gives me immediate access to more than I will ever need.

It doesn't really need dealers and I'm not a dealer in the way you might think of it. It's just that it's illegal and hence smokers tend to help out other smokers, the cops don't really give a fuck. They get sensitive about meth and coke which is a big money business here. Northernes are famous for using some ganja to spice up their soup, enhances the appetite. Everyone in my area knows that I smoke and have some available if needed, including the cops and the military. Only time I get in trouble is dealing in tourist areas, only because it interferes with the locals.

The question is how can you NOT do drugs in Thailand? Mother fuckers have watched too many episodes of banged up abroad and lack the common sense to realize that there is a huge difference between strapping bricks of drugs to your person and walking through an airport and quietly smoking in your hotel room or deserted beach or in my case hanging out of your window on BKK's busiest tourist beat.

Havent been to Japan, been to South Korea more times than I care to remember, easily the shittiest country Ive visited, its not their fault place is like Siberia by the sea... so bleak, boring and literally filled with depressed folk. Im sure they dont mean to be that way.

If you stay in the resort and do the tourist trap you are as safe as can be.....you strike out on your own make sure you have some local company. It's not like it is DANGEROUS but like any place If your not from there it is assumed you have money and you don't have the black shield you are used to(That is more so for big cities).

Countryside for the most part you are fine.
