So does the UFC/Zuffa sue fighters if there opt out of contract. Like this situation? Does he really want to fight in the UFC again?

RUMOR HAS IT ANDERSON SILVA WILL BE SUSPENDED FOR A YEAR AND A HALF

Rumor Has It Anderson Silva Will Be Suspended for a Year and a Half | FIGHTLAND

On Tuesday, March 17th, Anderson Silva and his team requested that the Nevada State Athletic Commission to push forward the date of his disciplinary hearing, during which Anderson is slated to give a statement in his defense. Anderson is currently aiming to redeem himself from a scandalous performance-enhancing drug fiasco in the wake of his return to the UFC versus Nick Diaz at UFC 183 this past January.

The hearing will now be held April 9th, according to information provided to the Brazilian program “Revista Combate”.

The former UFC middleweight champion and icon of mixed martial arts had until last Friday, 20 business days after the official NSAC complaint was made, to make a statement in his defense. Thus, he and his team requested an extension.

Anderson was first popped on a January 9th drug test that showed the use of drostanolone and androsterone. A second exam on January 19th came back with all-negative results. A fight night exam, however, once again revealed the drostanolone and androsterone, as well as a couple of benzodiazepines
