Just as I suspected, you initially said the right wont touch it, then when I show the right has touched the story, you move the goalposts to "far right".

Can we agree there is a difference between right and far right, just like there is a difference between left and far left?

Yes we can. When I said right, I assumed most people would understand I wasn’t talking about slightly right of centre media outlets.

Reports of shots fired during counter-protest in downtown Portland

Paintballs were fired and mace was sprayed, police say, as far-right protesters marched in Portland Saturday. Video with sounds of shots was also spread online.

Far-right protesters shot live rounds after shooting paintballs and macing counter-protesters, according to social media reports near the Justice Center Saturday.
The Oregonian reported that people in opposition to the far-right protesters chased them into a parking garage and threw a bottle at the car containing the far-right protesters. This was following the far-right protesters allegedly shooting paintballs and macing people opposing their presence.



Two shots were heard on a KOIN 6 live stream. A casing was recovered after that. No one was reported to be injured.

“We’ve wasted all their fucking resources to make this rally,” Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio said in video captured during the latest extremist rally held Saturday in Portland. “We want them to waste $2 million and we’ll do it again in two months.”


Tarrio and fellow Proud Boys leader Joe Biggs flew to Portland from Florida to host the rally, and fears among city officials about the potential chaos caused them to warn local businesses to close for the day. Meanwhile, a multi-jurisdictional police force of 700 was deployed, according to The Oregonian.
The closures cost local restaurants and other businesses an estimated $3 million in revenue, and taxpayers will likely be on the hook for millions more due to the police response, the paper reported.
