Their third event will host a sixteen-man tournament with a combined prize total of $50,000.

A gi tournament that will be open weight, brown and black belts. The winner will receive $30k, the runner-up will earn $20k, third place will win $7k, and even the fourth place finisher will go home with $3k.

Would be cool to see more promotions do this. Flograppling has too much control over promotions and competitors.
Speaking of Flo and competitors, can't wait to hear the story behind this.
I woke to a notification that the new Matburn podcast was up...

Keenan tends to use Instagram so this may have been addressed in his stories.

Sounds like Keenan and Josh finally broke down the Keenan/Meregali match from worlds.
Guess Flograppling changed their mind about giving Matburn permission to show the footage.
Strange seeing as Meregali got to use the footage on his channel.
Shenanigans.

The story has been taken down but Craig Jones and 3rd Coast Grappling promoter Ryan McGuire are starting a team based event.
From what I read it sounds more legit than Urijah Faber's recent promotion by showcasing grapplers.

A much-hyped rematch between Gordon Ryan and Felipe Pena that was set to take place at the third major 3rd Coast Grappling event has been removed from the event and indefinitely postponed.

3CG promoter Ryan McGuire told the Jiu-Jitsu Times that the shakeup was due to a contract dispute between 3CG and FloGrappling and that he still aims to make the Ryan/Pena match happen in the future.

3rd Coast Grappling has announced the emergence of their own streaming platform called Submission (or Sub) TV.

3CG promotor Ryan McGuire made the announcement in a social media post earlier today, saying that the service had been in development for some time, but is officially ready to launch to stream 3CG’s upcoming events: The Qualifiers II on October 26 and 3CG III on December 7 featuring Gordon Ryan vs Rodolfo Viera as the main event.

McGuire told the Jiu-Jitsu Times that the idea for SubTV was created out of the desire to provide both promotors and viewers with more options for streaming jiu-jitsu events. “The subscription model works for some, but we don’t want to tie people into some agreement or service that really doesn’t give them the value they deserve,” he said.
