Society Thoughts on GOP presidential candidate Bill Weld?

Just read about Bill Weld challenging Trump in the Republican primary. Weld was Governor of Massachusetts in the 1990s and ran on the Libertarian ticket with Gary Johnson in 2016.

I haven't heard much about his candidacy and don't know much about him other than that he's been fiercely critical of the administration for not keeping its promises. I doubt Trump will debate him so we'll see how long he stays on the ballot.

Anyone been following his campaign?

I like him. Seems like a standup guy.

He has no chance but I think he would do a good job. I had hoped that he would run at the top of a libertarian ticket this time around instead of Gary as he's much more palatable to the average person and centrists in general.
