As the thread title states, my favorite Congressman Sean Duffy is going to resign. His daughter who is due in a couple months is going to need special care due to heart issues and like any loving father, his family comes first. Best wishes to the homie Duffy!

Representative Sean Duffy, a former reality TV star and staunch supporter of President Trump who represents northern Wisconsin in Congress, announced today that he is resigning next month.
Duffy, 47, posted on Facebook that he recently learned that his ninth child, who is due in October, has a heart condition and ‘will need even more love, time, and attention due to complications.’
Duffy, who was on the cast of MTV’s ‘The Real World: Boston’ in 1997, plans to resign on Sept. 23.
Duffy met his future wife, Rachel Campos-Duffy, also 47, on the set of MTV’s ‘Road Rules: All Stars’ in 1998. Together, they have eight children and Duffy announced in May that she was pregnant with their ninth child.
Campos-Duffy is a Fox News contributor.
Democratic Gov. Tony Evers will have to call a special election to fill the vacancy.
Duffy was elected in 2010 during a GOP wave.
Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District is the state’s largest, geographically, covering all or parts of 20 northern and northwestern counties.
Duffy’s district is considered “solid Republican.”
Trump won it 57% to 37% over Hillary Clinton.
Duffy has been widely mentioned as a possible candidate for U.S. Senate or governor in 2022.
In his resignation announcement, he said being away from his family for four days a week to serve in Congress is ‘challenging’ and ‘I have always been open to signs from God when it comes to balancing my desire to serve both my family and my country.’
Trump, himself, developed national name ID as host of the reality TV show The Apprentice.
