I highly doubt that. The more PPV buys the more the UFC makes. They probably thought the costs for promoting the event weren’t worth the few extra buys it could have lead to but to say they would sabotage a cards PPV buys is not very business friendly. They were banking on Till winning so they had someone younger and more provoking (in a good way) on the mic rather than someone who was hard to work with behind the scenes.
