How long until someone dies doing that shit?

Not making weight is tuning into an epidemic just like PED's!

It's coming if they don't do something.

It has already happened last year, can't remember the guy but it was in Shooto. Guy had a stroke if I remember correctly, weight cut was blamed.

I keep thinking, even though I love wrestling, what about that time-honored playground rule to fight someone your own size?

That's a very good fucking point. Legends of the past, and Bendo most recently, proved that you don't have to be the bigger man to win an MMA.

There's plenty of examples in history of skill overcoming size. But the sad reality is when the skill level is close the bigger guy usually holds the advantage. Usually , definitely not always.

People talk about how good rumble looks, remember when he fought the outlaw at 170 but diddnt wanna stand and dry humped him. This is a prime example of being the bigger man working against you (even though he won) he had to game plan and not just be his killing machine self. Likely, I'm guessing, to the fact he cut 250lbs to make weight and was a little frail

"Hey guys just wanted to let u know I’m feeling better & just taking it slow. It was a freak deal, I felt fine & 1 of the easiest cuts so far but I passed out then bust my face into the mirror corner of the elevator the Doc & Burt didn’t think it was wise to continue. It is what it is & u know I felt great & trained harder than ever, I was super excited to get it on but GOD is in control. Also the CT scan looked good so I’ll be ready ASAP"
