I’ve been enjoying these tasty little buggers for a while now. Used to participate in a cigar thread over on the other forum & it was about the only place where the bs was left at the door.

So if anyone here enjoys an occasional stick or whatever, feel free to chime in. Most that enjoy cigars are happy to teach as well as learn.

Up tonight is a My Father Le Bijou 1922 Torpedo. Paired with a Rod & Hammers SLO Stills Cask Bourbon

Some sacrifices are worth making. You are doing good with that nice bourbon.

I still tell my wife that the day I retire I’m rolling a joint & sparking that fucker on my way out. Will probably end up having to call for an Uber to get me home though haha

Told work not to call me today & tomorrow. Finished a clutch adjustment on my sons bronco now it’s time for a mid day smoke.

Oliva Serie V Lancero, only paired with a sparkling water as I’m not about to break out the whiskey at noon.

Haha, no. Had a splinter go underneath the nail this morning. Bleed like a pig when I pulled it out.

Looks like an Umbagog Toro wins out today. This is the “budget” line from Steve Saka. Still about $8/stick when purchasing a 10pk. Has the same Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper as a higher end line of his but these didn’t pass the “pretty” inspection. They’re a solid stick that smokes like a $15-20 cigar.

Anyone noticed the big price jump on island cigars lately? I'm running low & need to restock, took a gander at the inventory of my go-to place and was shocked that some of the boxes had gone up >$50/box.

I've used that site in the past. Mostly use my Direct pricing at Atlantic for "S. American" sticks. I was just referencing Cubans as the price on those has gone up considerably lately.

Going to try a Nomad S-307. It’s an older stick from 2013 so should be both developed & mellow. Does have a Sumatra wrapper which I’m not a fan of but will give it a shot anyway.

As a backup is an always delicious Illusione Rothschilds Maduro

There’s also plenty of clubs, direct pricing groups, etc... for discounts on sticks or boxes. Cubans are going crazy on pricing right now. I have boxes in my humidor that were 225-250 last year that are over 300 right now.

I have plenty of great cigars that are in the 100-150/box range though too. Some guys get stuck on brands like Padron. A good box there is 3-400. Great cigars but plenty out there for a fraction of the price that are just as good if not better.
