Ok, so you stayed away from one another to be safe which means you have your acceptable level of risk. Everyone has their own. You could be right about governments and pharmaceutical companies and everyone else, but we do know conclusively that vaccines, masking and other mitigation strategies are successful with preventing people from unwanted illness and death, regardless of the scale. My family had a death this week and a close friend's family member is hanging on by a thread. It's understandableble to have your doubts, but your line of reasoning compromises many more people's freedom to live comfortably than what we're seeing actually happen in reality with the measures already in place. If you're right about your personal predictions, we can oppose the nefarious governments and pharmaceutical companies who concentrate wealth and power in the aftermath. You yourself have used strategies so as to not take any chances and enhancing effective strategies that minimize risk in the short term is very different from walking to the gas chamber (as if anyone did so willingly). No one wants to be sick and no one wants to die before they feel they have to.

Well, no we don't know that.
In fact I'd say we know definitively that none of the measures taken have anything to do with safety or mitigation.
I'd say the government(elite) are doing everything in their power to cause stress and disarm the world.
Personally, the only things we can do to mitigate serious illness have never changed, except but few new additions which are censored and banned.
- lose weight/lower co-morbidities
- take supplements & eat healthy
- get outside & work/play in the sun a.m.a.p.
- breathe real fresh air
- learn
All these are prohibited by and large, for a clear purpose.
My personal experience with this was different; I literally went over and hugged my daughter knowing I would get it.
