Well that was... interesting. Doesn't seem like Maynard's heart is in it anymore, or perhaps it's ring rust. Not up there with the best shows I've seen, but the band sounded fantastic.

That's a bummer to hear. I find that most vocalist don't put forth much effort during live shows. Then again, the guy is 50 years old. Must be getting tough for him to dig down and find that angst that helped him write all those tunes back in the day.

Yeah... they just weren't tight and he was messing up lyrics. They did the grudge with no scream, etc. Also, they did Vicarious for like 30 seconds without him even there. First show on the tour, though.

1. They did play an awesome new song.
2. MJK was dressed like MegaMan.
