Torres vs. Namajunas 2 targeted for UFC on FOX 19

Another intriguing fight is close to being added to the yet-to-be announced UFC on FOX 19 card.

According to sources close to the promotion, the UFC is targeting Tecia Torres vs. Rose Namajunas 2 on April 16. The UFC has yet to officially announce the card or its location at this time.

Among the fights already reported for the card are Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson, Rashad Evans vs. Shogun Rua and Michael Chiesa vs. Beneil Dariush.

I think they'll match Carla up unfavorably to keep her out of contention. Tecia/Rose winner is much more compelling for Joanna/Gadelha winner. Honestly I'd love to see Tecia vs Gadelha and Joanna vs. Rose no matter how all of this shakes out. I'd also like to see Carla vs. Penne and Waterson vs. PVZ with the winners facing each other for the next shot.

good call, carla should be fully recovered from the brutal beating by yo-hanna yed-champion by now. i'd prefer that fight too.
