I have no problem with this but why the fuck does trump have to tweet about it? Who advises this guy?
b/c the tweet will make the media's heads explode, but a majority of people are going to see the tweets, or the coverage of them, & say to themselves 'makes sense to me'
I assume they keep taking his phone away but he has a stash of burners under his bed.
Is it right for the president of america to call transpeople a burden? pretty cold hearted and i feel for any current serving men or women that now have to either quit the military or hide how they feel or who they are.
I just don't understand trans people. I don't know any and have no experience with them. When I was a kid even before I met gay guys and gals I understood that you love who you love and that difference didn't change my opinion of them as people. Trans I just can't wrap my head around. I've seen some cool trans people on YouTube (debating with Jordan Peterson) and there's a trans girl who writes about video games that I like (heather alexandria) but the concept seems so foreign to me. I don't hate on trans people just can't understand it, maybe I'm too old.

It can be difficult to understand. One of my closest friends is trans and he just seems like your average dude trying to get through the day. That's pretty much the point. The surgeries, fashion choices and sex is pretty much his personal business as far as I'm concerned. End of the day he's just a dude who likes to do cool stuff. If someone thinks serving is cool, now they're out of luck.
The fashion choices and sex are what throws me. I'm not saying I think you should hide who you are but when it's very apparent that your a dude wearing make up and a dress it's hard for me to take you seriously. As far as sex guys that become girls to fuck girls or girls that become guys to fuck guys just makes no fucking sense to me at all.
I don't know what it's like to want a dick and not have one or visa versa so I can't comment on how hard it is to go through life like that. If I had a buddy going through it like you do I'd likely have a better understanding of the issues.
I guess that's one pre-exisiting condition you cannot keep it you like it.
My wife's 4 year old nephew was born a female. Since day 1, he has identified as a boy, even with all the attempts by his parents to encourage him to conform to what all the other young girls are into at that age. Just recently they let him start to go by a boys name, dress as a boy and act as he pleases. So far seems very well adjusted and if you didnt know any better, he would seem like all the other little boys in his class.
Who knows what the future will bring for him.. I imagine puberty will be a whole new set of struggles for his family.

The point is at 4 years old that kid has no idea and a shit ton of growing up to do. I'm pretty sure I ate dirt at that age and I hardly do that at all anymore.

Most trans people who transition to the opposite gender have sex with their original gender, i.e. trans women have sex with men, trans men have sex with women. Doing the opposite is considered more like being gay trans, though there is a contingent that is pretty fluid with sexuality.
I get what you mean about it being odd to you visually, but so are a lot of things people do or in some cases are born with. I'd say it's just a matter of acclamating to something initially uncomfortable like anything else.

@conor mcgregor nut hugger, how would you compare a medical diagnosis like transsexualism to something like body integrity identity disorder (want to chop off your own limbs) and should we treat them the same medically?

It's a huge thing. It's all I hear about on the news anymore. I'm beginning to think that the LGBTT2QQIIAAP community makes up 60% to 70% of the population.

I think it's misdirection. He goes apeshit on Sessions & then the dems & Chuck friggin Shumer began praising Sessions on the senate floor, now whenever Sessions drops the hammer on anyone what the hell are they going to say? Sessions went from a grand dragon to a paragon of virtue over some tweets. Just today Sessions is taking aim at sanctuary cities & is going to announce an investigation into leaks & the media will be chasing their tails about transgendered ppl in the service
