The screeching over this bill is crazy.
I can't even remember a single bill passing that was good in any regard. This one actually has a lot of good shit in it and there more uproar over this than pretty much any one I can think of.

Well, he's Jewish so that immediately gives me pause. Guess we can start there. Do I think he's pushing hard (i.e. propaganda) on this bill? Absolutely. But I think his agenda for pushing this bill is genuine, because this administration feels it will help boost the economy, help address illegal immigration, increase law enforcement, and make the country safer & more prosperous.

Is this bill perfect? No. It certainly has it's flaws. Most glaringly, it's going to increase the deficit by about $3 to $5 trillion, depending on who you listen to. I also don't like the large funding that's in it for AI and other projects. And I'm sure there's a bunch of other pork in there that isn't great for the country (like all bills).

But it increases ICE funding by about 13x what it is now, and I'm a firm believer that mass deportations & sealing the border should be our main priority at the moment. Because deporting millions of illegals is going to have a huge positive impact to our economy and our culture, in my opinion. There's millions of illegals (and US citizens as well) who are defrauding America of Medicare, Social Security, EBT/SNAP, etc. Getting those people out of the system will save the country billions, if not trillions ($ towards national debt). It will also create jobs for Americans, lessen competing demand for homes, and reduce stress on our infrastructure (traffic congestion, roads, schools, hospitals, police & fire departments, etc). It will drive down insurance costs (how many illegals are stealing cars, driving w/ no insurance & causing accidents, etc). Our premiums have increased 40-50% over the past 4-6 years, because of that. It will also change the census of several states, which will impact House & Senate seats. There's a huge trickle down effect to getting these people out of the country. So just in that regard, I say pass the thing.

Then there's the tax stuff for tips, Social Security, etc. From what I've read, I don't think it's exactly "no tax" like the administration is saying, but it's certainly better than current state and should benefit the middle class.

No bill is perfect, but this at least a step in the right direction, in my opinion.
Interesting and thanks for putting some time and thought into the reply. The question wasn't about the bill at all though, I was just wondering what your gut instinct is on Stephen Miller as a person.

Speaking of the increase in ICE funding though, I'm not from the States so just out of curiosity, what are your thoughts on ICE both in regards to their methods (being masked, taking people without identifying themselves and bypassing due process for their targets) as well as who it is that seems to targeted by ICE with so many workers and non-criminals who have even been here for decades in some cases being taken as oppose to focusing on the gang members and criminals as originally planned?

The whole dynamic regarding taxes is insane and an example of how thoroughly and effectively they have brainwashed people.

I'd like to see a bill passed that makes the word taxes illegal to use by politicians.
The bill should read something like " no member of congress shall use any misleading terminology. It must be an accurate descriptor "
So they should have to replace it with " STEEL YOUR MONEY "

Of course that's never going to happen because government is a load of shit and they absolutely can't be trusted to goven themselves let alone other people.

Yet here we are folks.

I hope ICE deports every single person that's here illegally, every single one of them is a criminal. I hope they deport every single anchor baby, too. Especially my buddy's wife. She's a fat liberal retard.

Margolis hit on what I was thinking. This admin has been giving Democrats nothing but shit dilemmas to choose from and they've been falling on the wrong side of every 80/20 issue like they're trying to lose.

There's still 10% of me worried that they'll go full on extreme and try to push these latter day communists to the top because they don't know how to otherwise deal with Trump.

Democrats need to lose hard in 2026, maybe then they'll wake the fuck up. Don't have high hopes for it. There's a lot of numbers in the welfare class that'll vote blue no matter who, especially if they're promised free shit. Hopefully the deportations gut these districts.

Dose anyone think elon is going to follow through and fund a primary challenger against every Republican that voted for the bill ?

I think trump picked him right the first time.
