I could see him as the Army Chief of Staff/Secretary of the Army, whichever they use. Making a former Army Major the Sec Def is a bit of a stretch. If it works out, great.

High level officers are usually political appointees and far too removed from actual warfare. I personally think this is an intentional throw away pick to get other stuff through.

BUT he makes a bunch of great points about the bullshit happening in our military

Granted I'm a cynic, but I think we have to consider that if the MIC and Isreal didn't want Trump to win, he wouldn't have. If we can somehow be more effective and strong militarily, cut out the woke (Catering to trannys, White rage, etc) while being more dovish internationally, I'll be very happy
