The Ultimate Fighter 23 coach Claudia Gadelha had a difficult time coaching the reality show opposite UFC strawweight champion and rival, Joanna Jedrzejczyk.

The Ultimate Fighter 23 premiered on FOX Sports 1 on Wednesday evening. This season is coached by UFC women's strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk and top contender Claudia Gadelha, who rematch in the season finale, and this time, the belt is on the line.

Jedrzejczyk and Gadelha have had bad blood since the Pole's controversial split decision win over the Brazilian at the end of 2014, and it didn't stop when filming The Ultimate Fighter.

"It was very hard to be around Joanna, she's such a bully," Gadelha told UFC Tonight on Wednesday. "Every time I had to go the gym and see her, I was like, 'Oh my God, I'm going to see…

Seriously, though, the anamosity seems really contrived to me.

Fighters are just seeing how much money is being made by Ronda and Conor who use the whole cocky bully shtick and are trying to replicate it.

I don't blame them, but I'm personally over it.

I will be watching this season of TUF, but if it ends up like TUF20 where they constantly focused on Angela Magana being a bitch, I'll tune out.

Gadelha said everyone is a "good person" on the show, so that gives me some hope.

Oh I think they truly hate one another. The tension was obvious on the first show, and they didnt even talk any shit. Plus, they apparently threw down bareknuckle after the season was over and it was just them a few people cleaning up the gym. I think its going to be a great season. The fights to get into the house were great. Some talented prospects this season.

Joanna was intense from before she entered the UFC. I think you are just seeing the mentality of some ultra competitive athletes. Look at Chuck, he still thinks he could beat Jon Jones. It takes a certain mixture of confidence, self delusion, and aggression to be the best, and that will come across as cocky and bully like in some.

You might be right. Joanna just comes across as an odd Eastern European woman who is trying too hard to me. I found the pasta necklaces before the Penne fight cringeworthy.

She's a great fighter and can be very likable, but I really don't get her. Probably a cultural thing.
