UFC 185 medical suspensions: Five fighters out indefinitely - MMA Fighting

This is a really dumb question, but when a fighter is suspended and told "no contact" does that mean they can't train in the gym? How would the AC know if they complied or not? Just curious.

Yes, they are supposed to have no contact. How AC's monitor that? I have no idea, and doubt they can to be quite honest.

Medical insurance isn't going to cover you for any new injuries until after you've been cleared I guess?

Although how they decide on whats a gym injury and whats a contact injury is anyones guess.

The NSAC couldnt even decide how to handle Jones and the cocaine first time round so things like what you're asking really present a challenge to them.

RDA broke Pettis' orbital? That had to have been that shot he took in the first round right? Pulled a Koscheck and fought 4 more rounds with that. Warrior.

So did Meisha in her last fight against Sara. Dont think theirs were as serious as Koschecks', cause he was out for a while and still has troubles with it to this day.
