24k to get punched by anthony johnson? That is more than the dinner and movie some people he punches get, but well below what I'd say is a fair purse to fight him. I'd want to be able either

1. Talk to my grand kids
2. If that isn't possible then pay for their college education and trust fund.

i would think the fact that they are at the top means they never fell up there but climbed up there and considering we are talking about
the ultimate fighters in the world and not a bottom of the ladder fighting organisation then yes each champ is worth their weight in gold !

I think the UFC would consider that to be a relatively decent payday for DJ, especially since it doesn't seem likely that the PPV did well enough for him to cash in the way other champs with bigger numbers are able to.

PVZ's base is only 2k more than Rocky. Seems strange to point that out instead of the fact that Alex is also paid 2k more or that Andrade had the highest base pay out of any of the women at 20k. PVZ may be the golden child as far as press goes but by these numbers she's getting shafted like everyone else.
