UFC 201 salaries: Lawler, Woodley lead the way

Just four fighters broke the 100k mark in reported salaries at UFC 201.

After a massive UFC 200 PPV where the total disclosed salary was close to seven million dollars, UFC 201 wasn't exactly going to blow anyone away with huge paychecks. But it is surprising that just four fighters broke the $100,000 mark.

Two of them, headliners Robbie Lawler and Tyron Woodley, made the lion's share of the salary given out on the card. The only other two to break 100k were Jake Ellenberger and Jorge Masvidal.

Here's a look at the full breakdown, via the Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission. Remember, these numbers don't include the performance bonuses or any Reebok cash.

gotta say tho at the champion level 500k is a real good payout. add in ppv points and its damn good. theres just too much of a gap between the new guys and the champs.

I agree with others. Whilst Robbie getting some reasonable money reading down that payout makes me so sad.

Short career pro athlete, relatively, you need to get paid for putting your body on the line. .

THey should each have an extra zero for as long as they've been in the game.
