Another card that if it had been combined with this past weekends event would have been a ridiculously good card worth paying for. Still a great card... And the main event alone has me completely hooked.
Been wrestling all his life and ws a indiana state runner up in Highschool and started judo as a kid and is very well rounded..was 2 division LFA champion... and holds a razor thin decision over Borg in his ufc debut.. his only loss was a BS Dec on DW contender series.
Of course, we both know that I won't agree that it's 'fantastic'. But it's obviously not bad enough to go with my usual schtick either. It's a good card. It has 2 really good fresh fights, 1 unnecessary retread of a main event (but not the worst thing in the world) and one decent prelim bout in Assuncao vs Sandhagen. So 3 interesting fights and one "Ok, I guess I'll watch it again" main event. And the rest of the card is pretty dogshit. That's not even close to a stacked or 'great' card by historical standards. It wouldn't have taken much to make it a good card. If that last shit card in the ass end of the Earth didn't exist and you just put Ok fights like Luque-Perry and Volkan-Latifi on this one instead, it would look a lot more solid on paper.
I just typed Devonte Smith's name into Google (to work out who the fuck he is) and 2 news headlines showed up. From 1 Day ago: "Clay Collard plans to beat Devonte Smith at his own game" 10 hours later: "Devonte Smith draws new opponent" I guess Devonte Smith's game is to pull out of fights?
