Joe Soto was different story tho. He wasn’t even in the UFC. He was a former Bellator champ and a 2 division champ in Tachi palace. He was eventually gonna get those fights in the UFC and the Dillashaw fight probably derailed his career a bit.
He saved UFC 177 after 176 had just been canceled. The UFC should have set him up for life for saving the PPV.
