Cris "Cyborg" Justino Justino may very well get her wish.

The UFC is actively exploring the possibility of having Justino compete at UFC 198, sources close to the situation told MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani, who reported the news Wednesday on UFC Tonight.

"It has been almost 10 years since I last fought in my home country of Brazil," Justino recently wrote on her website. "I am very lucky that over the last decade my Brazilian fans have continued to support me and my career as I chased my dreams as a world champion, while living and competing in America.

"This May the UFC will be promoting an event in my hometown of Curitiba, Brazil, a city very rich in fight history. It would be an honor to return back to the city I was born in, and to step inside of the Octagon with an opportunity to prove myself as one of the best female fighters in the sport."

Interested if this will be at 135 or 145. I can't see Zuffa starting a 145 lb division just for Cyborg, I also can't see them doing a catch weight fight just to put Cyborg on a card.

Why can't you see them adding a women's featherweight division? It seems logical based on how women's MMA has done in the past two years. The only thing adding another women's division will do is grow the female fan base, which seems to be happening at an exponential rate.

Cyborg vs Nunes(5'8) or Germain DeRandamie (5'8) would be an excellent striking match up, maybe even throw Holm (5'8) in there who said she was willing to go up in weight. Those fights would be super intriguing in terms of size and striking, I just hope they don't make Cyborg vs Jessica Andrade.

I totally agree that it's a shallow division right now, but given time I believe it can be a great division. How many ufc women's bantamwights would rather fight at featherweight?

If she fights in the UFC will Narcosynthesis @Cerberus stop crying about people wanting to see cyborg and Ronda fight? I believe "she's not even in the ufc" has been used by him before.

Are there enough women at that weight that can contend for the title? Cyborg has been running through every opponent for the last number of years. It could be a stale division if there aren't any good matchups. I wouldn't be shelling out money for a PPV if Cyborg is headlining knowing she will destroy he opponent in about 90 seconds. There doesn't seem to be many women struggling to make the 135 pound limit right now but I'm sure a few would take the leap up to get a title shot.

so far I've only heard Holm saying she would Go up to FW. Meisha, Cat, Ronda, Nunes and Pena seen like solid BW at least from what I've seen.
