UFC Dallas! My first UFC experience.

Finally going to my first event in Dallas and I'm super excited. Another member gave me some great tips and temporary access to some of his benefits for the weekend, which was incredible of him. Normally I'd do a meet up but I'm taking a friend who is moving away and I don't get to see very often, so I want to enjoy the little time he and I will have together. Anyone else going? Not a ton of huge names but the card is stacked with great fights.

My first ever UFC event was in Dallas last year. Not going this year. The bar at the W was a fun spot to be at.

I don't drink and neither does my friend so it's not likely we will go to any bars. Do have plans to eat lunch at Pecan Lodge that afternoon and then head over to the event after. Probably end up parking elsewhere and taking the bus since I know the city so well.

Never been to a live event either, and people here have been telling me how awesome it is, so I'm sure you are going to have a blast. If you are able to take some pics, try to post them here and share your experience. I love seeing that kind of stuff. Have fun!

Just looked at the calendar and there's nothing scheduled for the UK....sad times!.....i guess with bisping out of the picture, we get nothing now...Though we now have new hope in new Bellator light heavyweight champion Liam McGeary.........In McGeary we trust.

I recommend going and watching all the fights, but definitely make sure you're in your seats like 15 min before the start of the main card. The Who - Baba O'Riley video montage is one of the coolest parts of going to a live show.

The rest of the card is stacked with great fights. Not a lot of big names but definitely some great matchups.

Overeem/Nelson, Caraiso/Cejudo, Cruickshank/Dariush, Pearson/Stout (I thought Stout retired?), and Benoit/Sergio Pettis. THAT is one I really want to see. Should be a great fight.

I'll be in Athens TX next week so I'm REALLY tempted to go, but damn that's a serious price for entrance.
