Because all the stuff you hear is nonsense. I've trained there. He trains hard & don't take people's bullshit excuses. Black dudes get hate for that.

I have no doubts that he's a great coach and knows his stuff. He routinely has really good people coming from his gym.

But there's so much smoke around him that it's very hard to believe that there isn't some fire as well.

Agree. I Think that goes for most Korean fighters. They also share similar attitudes of like the Diaz Bros toward fellow countrymen.

Theres about 6 noticeable Korean fighters in UFC around the similar weight class, never been matched up with each other
