I got out as soon as prices dropped to $3200 wholesale. I can't even imagine what your distributor is paying wholesale, but it certainly doesn't seem worth it for the farmers.

prices never got that high here ever. i started growing in the late 90s and 3000 was top dollar. i got out at 2000. lbs are dirt cheap right now
