I took him at +350 pre fight, but he would have been paying +3500 before that shot landed.

That was a beatdown round 1. Lrops to the ref for not stopping it, and props to Jones for absorbing and surviving all of that. He got that takedown late which gave him hope.
Jones is tough
1-0 Valiev. 10-8 round. Jones finds a way to win and this is easily one of the GREATEST comebacks..
Wow!!!!!! And JUST LIKE THAT! Ref stops the fight the moment Valiev gets stunned and rocked with gnp.

Bad stoppage imho. Valiev was working his way back up. Feels almost like ref was biased, because the beatdown the other way in round 1 was worse. But happy to see Jones rewarded for the grit and will to survive in round 1. Feel like if the ref shows that for one fighter, he should also give the other fighter the same opportunity if he finds himself in an adverse situation. Happy for Jones, didn’t like that stoppage though.
