Do you look at that card and think it has enough depth to add more fights?only 9 fights? wtf
I just want more fights than 9.Do you look at that card and think it has enough depth to add more fights?
This is already 8 fights of unknowns signed last week.I just want more fights than 9.
Even if it is some unknowns signed last week
I want MoarThis is already 8 fights of unknowns signed last week.
not great but...This fight card is an abortion.
Reem is unreal. So much talent. Shame his chin is gone, but he's kind of the total package if it weren't for that (and cardio). He's who I'd like to see welcome Jones the HW division honestly.not great but...
I gotta watch Reem
Guys like that aren't gonna come around often
No offense but why is that women fight on main card?
What exactly is that ESPN?

I think the risk/reward ratio isn't there. He likes people he knows he can beat. I don't think the UFC will set him up with anyone that can KO him right out the gate. They should, I just don't see it happening. One of the best to ever do it
I personally think sparring with Reem may have played a part in Jon not jumping to HW...Reem has great TD defense and savage power even at this stage
If Jon took that fight to start it off it would be a Bold move.
He doesn't KO many guys and when he does he often fails the testI think the risk/reward ratio isn't there. He likes people he knows he can beat. I don't think the UFC will set him up with anyone that can KO him right out the gate. They should, I just don't see it happening.
I think this is going to sour for him pretty quickly. He wants nothing to do with Santos or Reyes, so he's running to HW for apparently a bigger paycheck. The talent isn't in that division, but there are a few killers that when they land, can knock a head off. He doesn't have power at LHW, so I don't know what he thinks he's going to do at HW. Attempt to outpoint people? Pick and choose matches where he knows he can take someone down? I don't think he will be someone people look forward to seeing fight, aside from the first match, whatever that will be.He doesn't KO many guys and when he does he often fails the test
At HW there is nobody he can predictably KO...He has gone decisions with guys who were Middleweights in his recent past
Lose Lose probably...He needs a big payday, and probably a live gate in a full house in Vegas
I hope I am wrong

I don't think his cardio will be an issue since he trains at HW before he cuts.yep
I don't see a good gameplan for him vs HWs
Maybe against a guy that is a poor striker...but at HW everybody drops from the power and Jones gets hit flush a few times each fight
Plus how does Jon move and how is his cardio at 240 or whatever he is gonna fight at?
carrying the xtra weight if he does come in a bit bigger could take some off of his gas tankI don't think his cardio will be an issue since he trains at HW before he cuts.
He walks around at 230ish I think (when fighting at LHW). I'd imagine he will try to bulk up a bit since 230 on his frame doesn't seem very durable against the harder hitting and kicking division. He should have the speed advantage against just about everyone I would imagine, but again, unless he is going to attempt to out point everyone, I just don't see this going very well since he hasn't shown any power. Stipe seems to be about the same weight, but proportionally bigger since he's shorter, and proven to be very durable against monsters. If he can take down a few people in the upper tier, can he keep them there? Ngannou doesn't seem to have the best wresting, and neither does Black Beast, but they pack a punch that he will need to get through. Bad matchups IMO. I can't see him giving up his LHW belt to take fights against those outside of the top 10, let alone top 5. I'd actually be shocked if they put him in there off the bat just to test him at HW based upon him being the former belt holder. That puts him fighting for a title off the bat, or fighting number 1 or number 2. Lots of fights booked right now, so I don't know if this will be him sitting out for 6 months just to figure out the best matchup for him. Blaydes, Rozerstruik, JDS, Walt Harris seem like the probable matchups that he could have success against for his first fight, but at the same point in time, Stipe would make the most sense since Jones didn't lose his belt and he's going to HW. The other fights I'm seeing seem like too much of a risk of him getting knocked out of the business.carrying the xtra weight if he does come in a bit bigger could take some off of his gas tank
that is assuming the gas tank is natural, pulsing and all
If he gets all big up top and still has chicken legs that would be fun
He is of course gonna try to blow out some knees on the big boys, will still have leg reach on everybody

He's overdue for a legal episode.Couldn't agree more
He needs to pulse hard for a bit and hope he isn't rusty or jailed when he tests the HW waters.
Probation for that 2nd or 3rd dui has a lot of hoops to jump thruHe's overdue for a legal episode.
