UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker gives update on medical condition

2018 began with disappointment when Robert Whittaker was forced to pull out of his maiden title defense against Luke Rockhold at UFC 221. At the time it was announced, no specific reason was given by his camp.

It was not until this weekend’s UFC 220 event in Boston when the MMA public finally found out what really happened to “Bobby Knuckles.” According to UFC president Dana White, Whittaker had actually suffered a life-threatening illness.

He recently took to Instagram to post an update on his condition.

according to dana.. the staph was 10ft tall and named after nate diaz. seriously tho, good to see whittaker on the mend.
