UFC's Ronda Rousey named 'the most dominant athlete alive' - Bloody Elbow

So the criteria is how good are you at your sport versus others competing in the same.
Here they define WMMA as its own sport, which I guess is fair enough since we wouldn't compare Lebron and...well I don't know any WNBA athletes ( ).

Does this say a lot about Rousey? Or does it say how thin the pack is? It seems a little arbitrary.

Not Bolt, he has said he will dominate the 2016 Olympics and Phelps comes in and out of retirement.

The "Alive today" thing is poorly written too "Alive and currently active or training" I guess and it's still not her, plus Bolt is in that list I think I saw somewhere below Rousey.

Putting Rousey higher on a list with Bolt in it with the context of dominance, is basically calling the article "You go girl, here's some biased fluff, cause you know you paid us to"

Ronda is no doubt awesome at her craft but its just the origin of this list has me wondering. I've never once cured my itch for sports literature by googling "Business Insider" or anything else starting with the word business. Good for her to receive another award but I'm not sure how much weight it holds.
