Um..this bruise is growing

I have no clue what this is from. The only thing I can think of is a training partner cranking my leg from lockdown a few days ago. It looks like I took some hard leg kicks but I haven't sparred for a couple weeks. Can lockdown cause a bruise like this?

Nope. I rolled tonight and it didn't bother me at all. I just noticed how ugly it was and it looks a lot worse in person than in the picture.

Yea..it's definitely not staph. It's just a bruise. Not swollen, and the skin hasn't been punctured, no pain when rolling etc.

I agree with Zeph. Judging from how far down the bruise is on your ankle, it looks like a busted capillary. You should feel some sort of discomfort though, perhaps you're just too manly for your own good?

If it doesn't hurt, I'd lean towards it being a bruise.
If it does hurt there's a LOT of things if could be that you can't tell in a picture.
