I dont understand it either. The only thing that I can come up with is, the UFC is taking their sweet ass time booking him for fights...OR, they're trying to feed him fights against opponents that are bad match-ups (wrestlers), so he loses and his value on the open market goes to shit.
@Nate Quarry just outlined something in his Q&A that goes along with my theory. If you don't play ball w/ Zuffa, they shelve you or match you up against guys you'll have a problem with, so you're on a losing streak (thus devalued) when your contract runs out & you hit the open market.
^^^^^^that is something I think most big businesses do, you play by the rules or they manage you out...I was actually told this in an interview with a rather large business in UK, not the devaluing part but you want to work here you'll get it
