I've found a few cool collabos on YouTube in recent years. In fact, I've probably posted a couple before, but I'm not sure.

This is my favorite. Aretha teams up with Smokey Robinson to cover one of his biggest hits.

I knew this song back in the day, but it's my all time favorite r&b posse cut. All star team here with Boyz II Men, Brian Mcknight, Tevin Campbell, El Debarge, Levert, D'Angelo, Raphael Saadiq, Jodeci, etc.

I remember the desperate hunt to find this track on a mixtape back in the day. Dudes who sold the bootleg cds sometimes had a mix with it on there, but I never saw this video til recently. Lauryn Hill and Ziggy do a solid job of covering Bob. Probably my favorite Bob cover featuring a non-Reggae artist.

Here's a collab that doesn't quite work vocally, but works well musically. Stevie and Bob.

This collabo between Amy Winehouse and Prince I just saw recently, but Prince kills it.

This video is hilarious because everyone seems to be trolling. Still weirdly cool. Interestingly Michael gets probably the best few seconds, but James Brown and Prince keep it entertaining.

Dionne Warwick, Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder and Luther Vandross crush almost any quartet.

This quartet of Fantasia, Ledisi, Kelly Price and Marsha Ambrosius is probably one of the best ever assembled.

I searched for evidence this even happened for so long once the internet was available that I wasn't sure for years I didn't hallucinate it. D'angelo and Tony Rich.

From songfacts:

Gloria Estefan sang backup on this track. Secada co-wrote six songs for her 1991 album Into The Light, including her #1 hit "Coming out of the Dark." He toured with her as a backing singer before he signed to SBK Records and launched his own career with this album in 1992.

Cool thread, I'll have to work my way through what has been posted so far.

Who remembers the movie Judgement Night from the early/mid 90s? At the time, I loved the soundtrack which had interesting pairs of bands collaborating for each song. Was typically heavier rock/metal and hip hop artists. Helmet & House of Pain, Teenage Fanclub & De La Soul, Living Colour & Run DMC, Slayer & Ice T, Faith no More & Boo Ya Tribe, Pearl Jam and Cypress Hill, etc.

I haven't listened in ages now, so I think I need to give a listen to see how it has held up! I remember liking a few of the tunes quite a bit.
