I've seen Extreme. They were awesome. I'm a HUGE fan of their first album. I think I saw them on their Pornograffitti tour - it would have been in 1991. They opened for David Lee Roth. I think Cinderella was on that tour too - those motherfuckers (Cinderella) are still to this day the loudest concert I've ever been to - and that was an outdoor show.

Nuno killed it. I don't know if Cherone is still with the band or what - but he's actually a very good live performer - or at least he was back then. Great voice. Extreme's first album is extremely underrated. Pornograffitti was a solid effort as well.

DLR can ram it now because he's just a cabaret act but I know he was awesome back in the day. Cerrone's still with them, yeah. Would feel a bit weird without him but I'd still want to go to see Nuno.

HUGE Extreme fan, Nuno is amazing, they were bigger than "More than Words" and a incredible live act.

DId either of you catch Dramagods? Sadly they only did one album but I absolutely loved it. It was nice Nuno doing a full album actually as a lead singer.

They'll make it through Christmas apparently but they had such a slow summer they're likely to default.

Horrible. My eyes light up like a Christmas tree when I walk through those doors.

Guitar Center has been struggling for a while now. I'm actually surprised they've made it this far. The one I have close by is pretty terrible, you can tell hardly any of the employees give a shit about their job. Customer service lacks big time, and none of the folks seem to actually know anything about the instruments they sell. I'll go in there if I need strings or picks, or something else small, but that's about it.

In today's world, it's almost the kiss of death if you don't have the online stuff sorted out. Businesses like them should make it as easy as possible for people to spend money online. Not everyone likes to actually go into stores anymore if they don't have to.

Which is a shame. Strings come from an Ebay store online but I do like actually spending time eyeing up the guitars in the store.

And with that, Mr UPS bloke just delivered tickets for Extreme in January.

I haven't. Grew up listening to Sabbath because my dad was a fan but I've never seen him. I should really have stuck around for the second day at Aftershock to see him like you said, before he carks it. Never seen Judas either, I can't really say I'm a fan of either.

Even their selection on production and DJ gear was order by purchase only (I couldn't demo the Ableton or Maschine MK3 unless I bought it)... Sucks.... But I'm good, I get all my bass gear from Bass Central (look it up online)

I haven't been to Guitar Center in years. I used to go to the one at Winter Park Village and would get amazing deals from one of their pro audio guys. But I eventually got sucked into online shopping at Sweetwater.

It really is such a shame, I like going in and seeing people rock out thinking they're the second coming of Wayne's World.

The last time I was there I thought I was going to die. Cars peeling out everywhere. Drug deals out in the open. Prostitutes basically fucking people in bars. It was anarchy. LOL. This was probably 15 or so years ago though.

The venue was pretty much right off I-4 so I didn't see much of it. Just a crowd full of mellow stoners.

Kinda bums me out how many people try to record entire songs on their phone. Kills the vibe a little.
