It's a cool fight but I feel like they are going to lose a title contender in this fight and the division is pretty shallow.

That is the one of the dilemmas of match making - if you pit top 5 guys against each other then you lose contenders, but if you don't then everyone complains that they are 'gimme' fights and haven't beat a top ranked guy.
