"Hugo Chavez declared the oil belonged 2 the ppl. He used the oil $ 2 eliminate 75% of extreme poverty, provide free health & education 4 all," Moore tweeted nearly four years ago.

Time hasn't been kind to Moore, in many ways. This tweet in particular now seems like little more than rank ignorance by someone who actually seems to believe that socialism — a system that has never succeeded anywhere it's been tried on earth — is superior to the free market.

I was attempting to link a tweet by Michael Moore about how brilliant Venezuela was in helping out the poor.

But it wouldn't link and for some reason it posted my failure twice.
It's okay, bro. I still love you.

But socialism works, if it's done right.
It's just that everyone keeps doing it wrong.
Next time it will be done right for sure.

I used to read this yearly publication entitled Censored: The Most Under-Reported Stories of 20xx.
It is fucking crazy how much power businesses have over nations in our times, and how they consistently act in favour of a clear agenda.

That being so, my comments are speculative and not to say that was the exclusive reason for things running off-course, but it would surprise me greatly if there have not been foreign interests acting to ensure the failure of Venezuela.

Nonetheless, communism is a bad calculation.
