not how I like to see a man 24 hours before he risks his life in hand to hand combathe's in a bad way.. his ass needs to get some coconut water and pedialyte in him asap... Him bending over is him getting light headed almost passing out...his organs are literally cramping up in his body right there... I've been there and its not fkn worth it... I've vomited bile butt naked on a stage weighing in and got a standing ovation for making weight after .2 of my last being came out of my soul.. this shit isn't a game
Could you give us some insight into making weight for a fight? Like the week of making weight, do you eat anything at all and if you do then what kinda stuff do you eat? How much can you lose in a week? Day? What about any liquids you consume. Thanks!he's in a bad way.. his ass needs to get some coconut water and pedialyte in him asap... I've cut from 201 to 171 in 5 days after being on a week drunken binge when my mom told me she was sickCould you give us some insight into making weight for a fight? Thank you for this. Very interesting...I've cut from 201 to 171 in 5 days after being on a week drunken binge when my mom told me she was sick
Nothing but a little water and 1 baby meal a day... Mostly tuna, chicken or beef with rice and fruit/ veggies... only taking in a pound or pound and a half a day total in liquids and food..but living in a sauna suit.. trained at mikey burnett's gym with david heath (guy tim boetch slung down like a child) for fightfightvuz it was at a casino in Tulsa Oklahoma.. just getting a sweat going and moving 2 hour sessions 2 times a day after that by shadow wrestling stayingstayingin mmy stance and riding the bike... then gaming or sleeping trying to pass time so I don't think about eating or drinking...
Very depressing week and thinking about it makes me wonder wtf I was thinking... That fight I speak of I luckily finished in first period cuz I wasn't mo where near 100%.. My manager woke me up half drunk still next to a pile of my puke smh..I was drunk on the plane and landed checked my weight in a Ball Fart aka wal mart and the scale said 201..yea it wasn't a pleasant week..But somehow I made weight and crushed that mfers face..Its on youtube... wish I had all my fights on tape but unfortunately there's 30 or so I don't have.
You think they will ever do away with it and ban weight cutting?I've cut from 201 to 171 in 5 days after being on a week drunken binge when my mom told me she was sick

One thing fighters have shown me is that they ain't too brightIt amazes me people do that to themselves
it's disgusting that they even allow it.You think they will ever do away with it and ban weight cutting?
when you're job is to beat ppl up cutting weight don't seem too crazy at the time... there's plenty of smart fighters... don't forget there's many many college graduates that are wrestlers that turned to fighting..I'm not here to bash ppl.. especially when these guys give you dorks something to watch..One thing fighters have shown me is that they ain't too bright
I mean the door bell works... but there's no one home
they've tried different methods but in the end humans will always find ways to get around shit. You think they will ever do away with it and ban weight cutting?
he gets too reckless and gets caught in exchanges.. he always fights out of anger once he is hit.. he will run into something and get finished.Penas defensive wrestling is suspect and this weight cut doesnt appear beneficial
Steven peterson (+210) by constant takedown attempts and top control
I agree thats a possibility. Ive never been a fan of Stevenson but hes tough and hopefully he can follow a simple gameplan.he gets too reckless and gets caught in exchanges.. he always fights out of anger once he is hit.. he will run into something and get finished.
I was being sarcastic.when you're job is to beat ppl up cutting weight don't seem too crazy at the time... there's plenty of smart fighters... don't forget there's many many college graduates that are wrestlers that turned to fighting..I'm not here to bash ppl.. especially when these guys give you dorks something to watch..
I agree.. the fighters getting pushed around and not being paid right is their collective fault..but the monopoly called the UFC has a way of scaring these scary guys into not pursuing a union...idk whyI was being sarcastic.
But on a serious note there are always exceptions.
As a general rule I'd argue that fighters are individually smart
but collective hapless.
Why is it they never organize and help themselves?
Its been how long with MMA now?... Pride, the UFC, Bellator etc...
and fighters still have not lifted a finger to improve their working
environment
In a joking way I'd call that "not too bright."
Auto workers and assembly men show more collective intelligence
to improve their environment then fighters do
Fighters deserve better but for whatever reason won't do anything
to better their situation.
That ain't so bright is what I'm getting at
Yeah its a shameI agree.. the fighters getting pushed around and not being paid right is their collective fault..but the monopoly called the UFC has a way of scaring these scary guys into not pursuing a union...idk why
