He definitely has plenty of pop but I think it was mostly placement in this instance. It's hard to critique him too much but he was kind of getting lit up by Cirkunov before the lame little hook of doom landed. That's not a healthy recipe for extended success.

In that gif you see literally everything goes right. Steps in with a right cross and gets a little hip into it while dude is throwing a sloppy slow left counter which turns his jaw to the right, exposing it. Hammerfist clearly was the real finisher though lol.
