WANDY: How Do YOU Pronounce It?

I know it's pronounced Vanderlei but I have always pronounced the short version "Wandy". Then today talking on the phone "Vandy" came out of my mouth and I don't know why....

So how do u pronounce it?

Vanderlei (vanderlay) is how I've always pronounced it, but if his brand (wand) is any indication of how it should be pronounced it's wanderlei (wanderlay). I'd imagine he wouldn't like vandy or wandy either way.
