Last week it went from 15 above zero to 20 below zero in 24 hours and dumped over a foot of snow on us during a 36 hour period.
There was no snow in my backyard 24 hours before this picture.

Whoever came up with those identifiers (watch vs warning) needs to be shot. So fucking dumb.
"Watch" implies there is one out there to see - so watch out for it.
"Warning" implies that they're giving you a heads up that things might get dicey.
This confusion has undoubtedly cost lives.
How about:
Tornado Touchdown (give location)
Airborne Funnel Cloud (give location)
Tornado Risk - Current weather could advance to either of the above.
Having folks trying to remember the difference between "watch" and "warning" is dumb as shit, so dumb that it leads to power point presentations using tacos.
