I wonder how other fighters on the roster feel about it?

I bet Esparza flips her shit seeing a fighter who is 1-0 in the UFC getting a Reebok contract, tbh, it shows how fucking shallow the advertising market is, though to Vanzant's credit, she like McGregor knows how to play the social media/marketing game.

Reebok was popular in the late 88s early 90s, it is a dead brand today. Under Armor and Nike have it wrapped up today, so it doesnt surprise me for The UFC to go with a inferior brand.

When I was a kid Reebok pumps were the ones but Reebok classics are still alive and well in the UK. Part of the scally uniform. Reebok ERS were also popular. They held a fair share of the fire hazard Shell Suit market too.

They look ecstatic. Conor looks like he wants to kick his own ass.

Cat burglar outfits with fluorescent trim?

"My brothers in the NFL are going to never let me live this down"

Yeah, that is some of the shittest gear. I wonder if it was a prank, 'what is the worst stuff we have that we can make them wear?' by the production crew.

Those are pretty ugly. I expected more from them to be honest, regardless where the brand is at o the big stage today..........I expected more.

She is constantly bitching about it on Twitter. Constantly.

The UFC basically had a 115lber TUF, crowned a champ. Then the second Paige won her fight, the entire division was locked in drawer. Since. Don't get me wrong Paige is a helluva cutie, but people like the 115ers more than the 135ers and they are apparently all confused why they haven't been used since... at all.

Zuffa... I mean just interchange the name with Mensa and I mean fuggedaboutit am I rite?

The thing that is pissing the 115 pounders off more than this Reebok deal, is being shelved. Joanne Calderwood and some others have been pretty vocal about it. They are having a hard time making ends meet because the UFC isn't giving them fights. It's extremely odd.

It makes perfect sense, actually. The UFC doesn't care about wmma, they just want attractive female champions. They apparently don't find Carla attractive.

If they give the 115lb women any fights, one of them might go more than 1-0 and earn a title shot and there's no guarantee she'll look like Paige. If they give Paige a fight, she might lose.

They want another Ronda.

Really good point, and really unfortunate at the same time.

They should be working with Invicta more. Give the girls more fights over there until WMMA matures more.

Would it not been possible for Zuffa to make some sort of deal with Reebok that would include a type of exclusive sponsorship for champions? You'd figure that a major sports org and sports apparel company would want to promote the best in that sport no? Yes I realize what sells but FFS sake go to bat for your champs first then let Reebok decide.

Meh. When Calderwood was in Invicta she was making like $2,000 a fight. All the girls were paid around 30k just to be in the TUF house for 2 months which more than prolly 90% of them have made fighting in a year.

Everyone will be sponsored by Reebok by July 1st. Weidman, Velasquez, Dillashaw, DJ, etc are still not sponsored by Reebok yet. Esparza should calm down a little bit. From a business standpoint I kind of see why Paige is sponsored now over Esparza. Paige is gonna be on the main card of a big Fox show which draws the most casual viewers. She will be the only one on the card sponsored by reebok and obviously shes an attractive girl and draws attention. Esparza is co maining a card with Pettis who is already gonna be wearing the reebok apparel. I can see why they wont sign her sponsorship deal til the summer.
